Tea Time Tink

It's a typical Monday here at my house...

  1. Get up
  2. Shower
  3. Get dressed
  4. Eat
  5. Get Faith ready for the day
  6. Errands for the house
  7. Errands for Faith
  8. Errands for myself
  9. Errands for Wayne
  10. Errands for the church
  11. Answer my text messages....
HOLY CRAPOLA!!!!

"Omg Wayne does this say what I think it says?!?!" "Yes it does!"
-Insert squealing conversation and wreckless driving on my part-

  1. Arrive at airport
  2. Squeal some more
  3. Cry
  4. Squeeze
  5. Squeal some more
Hunter is home! It is unreal how excited I was to see her. It has been way too long! Seriously like this is worse than London. Maybe it's because we had a whole year together between the two where Hunter was the one that I could go to keep me sane. She always gives level headed advice.

Anyhow, she is only here for two nights because they have tickets and passes to go see One Direction in Nashville. Regardless of the reason, I am so excited to see her office light lit up tonight. Seeing that sight really makes me happy. It also makes me realize that she inspires me to go after my dreams and passions. Hello she just got promoted at Disney!

Saying that I am proud of her doesn't cover it. Hunter deserves this more than anyone I know. Sure she has a few bucks in the bank but is that really so bad when she has a heart of gold? No it's not. It's one of those things where if you think she is bad, I don't care to know you.

That about sums up my day. It was a day filled with many blessings.

Walgreens, Walmart, Sephora, and Ulta

I have had this post for awhile adding to it here and there. I am not great with hauls because I buy spontaneously! And it's rare for me to splurge but lately it's been hitting me pretty hard because so much in my life has been changing and I like to look my best because then I feel my best.

The song above has been stuck in my head all afternoon. I decided that it was time to do some shopping---Bad idea. School starts back for many this week and I didn't think of that. I did however have a wonderful time with my daughter. I have never done a haul post so bear with me while I take this on.

Through the Wires to My Head

My music + Shuffle + Plus Why = Whacky Fun

I Don't Feel Like Dancing - Scissor Sisters

Nothing like some Just Dance with the neighborhood. Seriously this song is very hard to get a 5 on and let me tell I was freaking determined to do just that. I now can do it without the game. Plus it's one of the those feel good song. The kind where you roll the top down and just sing like you are on the open road.

I Melt - Rascal Flatts

I know what this song is finally talking about because that's how I feel about Wayne. It's not just sex with us. It's the coy looks across the room. It's watching him sing while cooking. It's me talking about Harry Potter to him that means the world to us. It's our own little world. It's the feeling of throwing the gaming sole in the goodwill and grinning at each other from the sheets. Trust me, I melt.

Work - The Saturdays

First of all this song reminds me that I am worth working for in a relationship. Not as a wife because that's ridiculous. I want him to work at our relationship. Thank heavens Wayne does. He counsels people before they get married so it's a good thing he knows how to work a relationship.

City Love - John Mayer

Growing up in some of the biggest cities in the US I understand this song. "Falling asleep to the sounds of sirens." That line is so true! I am glad I found love in the mountains above the city. It's amazing. No city glossy magazine for us.

Paulette

Paulette gave me this song. It was wrote for her and Clairé's relationship. It is amazing. The guy might be a douche but the songs he wrote for them are amazing.

A Little Bit - Jessica Simpson

As far as this song being inspirational. I work out to it. But realizing that I as I listen to it. It's basically another work for the relationship. Hm I think I am finding a trend in my music.

On and On - Chasen

This song inspires me to remind myself of Joyce Meyer's words, "Want to confuse the enemy when you have the biggest problem you’ve ever had in your life? Instead of worrying—worship, sing, praise and give thanks to God. Then watch and see what happens in your life." It is very true!

Clairé

I was amazed by these songs. I will admit the Paulette's song is slightly better. But both of these are amazing. Even if Paulette and Clairé's relationship is over. But they have a friendship that no one can touch.

Venus - Bananarama

This song reminds me to put for the extra effort to show stopping gorgeous! Both Wayne and I love this song. I love working out to it and getting ready to it. Cat fight ready is what I call it.

Paralyze - Tila Tequila

I do not know if this song really inspires me. It just reminds me to calm down when I am upset. It does remind me of my past relationships. Not that it's something I want to remember.

Skips ~ Not Fragile - Christina Grimmie and Familiar Taste of Poison - Halestorm

It's Written in the Sand

It's something that has taken over my cousins, friends and other family members... The planner addictions. And just let me stand up and say, "Hi my name is Lillian and I have a planner addiction too."

Yes I managed to save up enough for my planner. I waited for a long time thinking I wouldn't get sucked into the madness but I did. I use it wayyy more than I thought I would. I am enjoying looking around online for different things to put in my planner. I am an odd ball and I like a more whimsical planner.

When I say whimsical, I mean it. I have quotes about mermaids, fairies, Secret Gardens, Disney etc. I love it. It's one of my favorite things I have ever bought myself. I look forward to looking in it and planning each day.

One of the things I was so excited was my charm for my planner. It looks like this one; Compass Planner Charm. Yes my planner has that much of a theme going with it.

Now when I purchase my planner. I got the Mermaid cover one. I love it! I told them I wanted mine more blue-purple (Erin Condren Website calls it Iris).

Also from the Erin Condren website I purchased:

I loved these extras I purchased but the other extra is my absolute favorite...

My second cover...

I love it in ways I cannot describe. It just the red roses that I just adore.

I really haven't bought to many things though.

The stickers I have bought have been from Walmart, Target, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Dollar Tree, and Dollar General. And the places from online are Smile Makers, Oriental Trading, and Stickers Galore.

As far as Washi Tape goes:

Yes I went washi crazy but I am not alone at all.

As far as other things that I have bought:

I will update everyone as my planner changes and grows with me.

Growing Up

I never thought I would be this happy...

I have had miscarriage since getting married, but we are going stronger than ever. Wayne and I were both shocked to learn that I had a miscarriage. (Thanks body I blessed out Clear Blue for nothing.) We stood around a day talking about it and crying. But after a friend told me to give myself a just a day to complain and cry about it I felt better, because that's exactly what I did. (Thank you +Odette). I am only writing about it here to let people know. When people bring it up now I no longer hurt or pine for them to talk about it.

Wayne and I have moved on and we have fixed our focus on more important things. People think we are being insensitive to people who are infertile or have multiple miscarriage. What they don't understand is that this is my third one, but it is my first one with Wayne. So for what anyone knows I may not be able to give birth to children. But that isn't stopping me from being a mom.

This little one is what makes me world stop instantly. Cry, laugh, coo or say Mama... My world stops so I can listen more carefully. She is funny because she doesn't take to normal things. Her friend Eloise makes her giggle and laugh more and more. We love spending time with Aunt MayAn Uncle Fankie and Elloee.

As for me and Wayne. We have been decorating our new house and preparing for everything. We have two dates a week. It feels good to finally find where I belong. I no longer feel like an outsider trying to fit in with everyone. I just fit. Thank God for everything you have given me. I know how blessed I am.

I mean hello, Erica and Mary Ann have me cleaning house... Who would have thought?

Fresh Start Challenge Day 30: Then, Now, and Soon

Dear 15 year old self:

You really don't have it so bad. Sure you go to all girls school but it's not so bad I promise. We did good only inhaling once on the weed. Bad job on picking up smoking though. And eh on the drinking. It's not terrible like the smoking was on us.

Don't worry about the acne scars trust me there will be other scars to come that are far worse and way more embarrassing. I'm glad that you made it. And seriously grades don't make the person.

Dear me:

I know I give you a hard time on yourself all the time. But in order to be where we are now I had to be. We've come a long way in the past two years, got away from him, stop smoking, and got a better job. You have gotten over the miscarriage and the scariness of being alone. Now you are married, have a precious daughter and are building a new house. You exercise and attempt to eat right and you are finally hanging out with a good crowd.

Dear future me:

Well you have done the best you can. You've cried, screamed, and laughed. Don't stop dreaming and believing in things. Move on through life with the spirit of being 20 again. Yes you have fine lines and have babies and children that keep you from a nice clean house that was built 15 years ago but hey that's life. You wanted it like I want it. Lol just remember who to keep first and love Wayne with the rest of your heart.

Fresh Start Challenge Day 29: Shotgun

Mrs. Winthrop was peeking out of her window again.

She felt like she heard something for the 30th time.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing again.

She finally went outside. Her eyes gave sight to a snake.

Her eyes searched for something to kill it with while she tried not to move.

"Boom." The snake's head was blasted off with perfect precision.

Mrs. Winthrop only nodded, because her voice was lost on her.

She looked up at her neighbor Hunter.

"Guess it's a good thing we both look out our window a lot."
